OVIEDO, Fla. (AP) - A central Florida teenager is accused of impersonating a police officer.
A Seminole County Sheriff’s deputy stopped the 16-year-old on Saturday as he was driving in a silver Impala with blue police lights.
Deputies say the teen was wearing a shirt that had “police” on it. He was also carrying law enforcement equipment, including a handcuff key. He also had a loaded handgun in the car.
Orlando television station WFTV (https://bit.ly/1iuXsmX ) reports the teen is charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. Both are felony charges.
Deputies did not say whether the teen had attempted to pull anyone over.
