Woman found in W. Colorado died of hypothermia

MONTROSE, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say a woman whose body was found in her vehicle in western Colorado died of hypothermia.

Montrose County Coroner Thomas Canfield identified the woman as 47-year-old Jodie Ann Valerio, whose body was found on the Uncompahgre Plateau west of Montrose on March 11. She was last seen alive March 8.

Canfield says tests showed methamphetamine and Ecstasy in Valerio’s system. The Montrose Daily Press reports (https://bit.ly/1idaKnr ) her death has been ruled an accident.
