BRENTWOOD, N.Y. (AP) - Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with the assault on a 52-year-old Long Island woman earlier this month.
The victim was punched in the head and kicked in the abdomen on March 7 as she walked along MacArthur Avenue in Brentwood.
Police say there was no altercation beforehand and nothing was taken from the victim.

She was taken to a hospital where she was treated for a concussion and broken ribs.
Police on Monday charged the following individuals with third degree assault: Qwatese Jarvis and Wayne Beavers, both of Bay Shore, and Wilfredo Torres of Brentwood.
Beavers and Jarvis are 16 years old; Torres is 17.
It wasn’t immediately clear if they had lawyers.
