CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Transportation officials have scheduled an open house in Worland on March 27 to explain how the Wyoming Department of Transportation works with contractors and residents to improve the state’s highways and bridges.

Department spokesman Cody Beers says those attending the open house will get to discuss pre-qualification of contractors, bidding of construction projects, contracting, pre-construction, construction and the final close-out of WYDOT projects.

The meeting will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Worland Community Center.
