LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department has withdrawn 10 construction projects from its planned list of projects scheduled for award in April.

The department said in a news release that the decision is the result of the uncertainty of federal funding through reimbursements available from the Federal Highway Trust Fund.

The projects being withdrawn include work on Highway 165 in Chicot County; work on a city street in Mulberry; widening of Highway 167 in Independence County; and two bridge replacement projects in Pulaski County and one bridge replacement in Garland County.

Other projects withdrawn are a traffic signal upgrade in Morrilton; work on Highway 226 in Craighead County; widening of Highway 63 in Lawrence County; and bridge painting on highways 67, 84, 79, 7 and 82.
