ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A Wasilla man has been convicted of sexually abusing his daughter when the family lived in Anchorage

KTUU-TV (https://bit.ly/1nBXXQT) reports the name of the 42-year-old man was not released by prosecutors to protect the identity of the victim.

The man was acquitted of charges against two other minors.

Prosecutors say the sexual abuse began in 2008 when the girl was in third grade and continued until 2011. A parent of one of the child’s friends reported the abuse.

Deputy District Attorney Clint Campion says in a release that the man was convicted of three counts of sexual abuse of a minor. Sentencing is scheduled for August.
