NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say an out-of-control SUV crashed through a fence that landed on a subway train in Brooklyn. No one was injured.

The MTA says the top of the car rested lightly on the train.

It says the damage to the train was minimal.

Authorities say the SUV was traveling along East 18th Street near Albermarle Road when it struck the fence around 5 a.m. Wednesday.

They say a rescue train transferred passengers to the Church Avenue Station.

Police say the driver fled the scene. The SUV was removed around 7:15 a.m.

The incident occurred just north of the Beverly Road station.

Southbound Q trains were running express from Prospect Park to Kings Highway while repairs to the fence and wall were being made.
