BOISE, Idaho (AP) - A 25-year-old Eagle man who got into a crash that killed his 21-year-old female passenger has pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter.

The Idaho Statesman reports (https://bit.ly/1kLJYDz) that Ryan Andrew Cassell made the plea Monday in 4th District Court.

Aldina Ekic died of blunt force trauma to the head in the Oct. 31 crash on State Street near Glenwood Street.

Police say Cassell had a blood alcohol content of .125 percent, well above the legal limit of .08 percent.

Cassell faces up to 15 years in prison and a $15,000 fine. He’s scheduled to be sentenced April 30.

Cassell has been free after posting a $75,000 bond in early November.
