ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - Nathan Wedel scored 34 points to lead James Valley Christian to an 85-68 win over Centerviile Thursday at the South Dakota Class B boys basketball tournament.
Wedel made 13 of 17 shots from the field, including 4 of 5 3-pointers. He was 4-for-5 from the free throw line and grabbed six rebounds.
Alex Waldner and Andrew Ulvestad tossed in 17 points apiece for the Vikings (23-1), who shot 57 percent from the field.
Seamus O’Malley had 25 points and eight rebounds for Centerville (17-7). Rory O’Malley added 14 points and Josh DeRaad 11.
