BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A central North Dakota man accused of breaking at least two bones in a friend’s face has been sentenced to four years in prison.
The Bismarck Tribune (https://bit.ly/1eqHGZ0 ) reports that 29-year-old Jeramy Bison was sentenced Thursday after he pleaded guilty to a Class C felony aggravated assault charge.
The charge stems from an Oct. 21 incident in which Bison says he got into an altercation with a man he had been drinking with. Bison says he can’t remember what the argument was about.
A prosecutor says Bison fractured the victim’s nasal and orbital bones.
South Central District Judge Sonna Anderson told the Bismarck man that he is a danger to the community after hearing from the prosecutor that Bison had previously pleaded guilty in a stabbing case.
