FARGO, N.D. (AP) - It’s a big day in Washington state for the North Dakota State men’s basketball team.

The Bison take on Oklahoma in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. NDSU is the No. 12 team in the West Region, and the Sooners are No. 5. The game is at 6:30 p.m. Central time Thursday in Spokane.

The Bison have a resume that includes wins over Notre Dame, Western Michigan and Delaware, as well as the Summit League’s regular season and tournament championships.

Meanwhile, the University of North Dakota men’s basketball team has been quickly knocked out of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament. UND lost to Omaha 91-75 in the first round of the CIT Wednesday night.
