OBERLIN, La. (AP) - Authorities in Allen Parish have arrested a woman in connection with the stabbing death of an Oberlin man.
KPLC TV reports that 59-year-old Fred Green was found dead inside his burning mobile home Monday morning. Authorities said Green died of multiple stab wounds.
Allen Parish Sheriff Doug Hebert (AYE’ behr) said 31-yearold Ebony Ackless was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with second-degree murder.
Hebert said the early investigation indicates Green’s death may have followed a drug deal that went bad.
No bond had been set for Ackless as of Thursday evening.
