RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Falls Washington beat Rapid City Stevens 56-43 in the third-place game at the South Dakota Class AA boys basketball tournament Saturday.

The Warriors (15-12) took a 33-16 lead at halftime. They cooled off in the second half, but the lead they built stood up to a challenge late in the game.

Stevens (20-5) could not generate enough offense to make a run. The Raiders shot 24 percent from the field.

Brett Stanley had 17 points and Deng Geu 12 for Washington. Geu and Austin Heins had 11 rebounds each.

Steven Schaefer led Stevens with 14 points.
