COMMERCIAL TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - An elderly southern New Jersey man has died from injuries he suffered when he was stabbed multiple times in his home by an intruder.
State police say 85-year-old Eugene Tabinowski died late Saturday night, nearly a day after police found him in his Commercial Township home.
The Press of Atlantic City (https://bit.ly/OLbs1e) reports that Tabinowski told police he was attacked by a man who used to cut his lawn. He said the man had come to the residence that evening and, after the attack occurred, allegedly stole his car.

Authorities were questioning a suspect on Sunday, but no arrests have been made.
