ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Class B tournament MVP Emily Durr scored 27 points to lead the Utica Notre Dame Jugglers to a 67-39 win over Staten Island Academy in the New York State Girls Basketball Federation Tournament of Champions Sunday afternoon.

Durr scored 29 points in her semifinal game against East Harlem and 46 for the weekend.

Claire Sehring added 11 points, Anari Harris scored 10 and Katie Buschmann tallied 11 rebounds for Utica (24-3), representing the Public High School Athletic Association.



Staten Island Academy (17-8 in the New York State Association of Independent Schools) was led by Cameron Corbett’s 10 points and Megan McEwan’s 10 points in the loss. Staten Island reached the final by beating Mt. Mercy Academy, 57-53.
