NEWPORT, Vt. (AP) - Police in Newport, Vt., have arrested two men in connection with at least $3,000 worth of items stolen from homes this month.
Police said 21-year-old Glen Boule of Newport and 18-year-old Ashton Chaske of Coventry were arrested Saturday after a chase in which stolen items were recovered, including a handgun. Someone had seen them going into garages and called police.
Both have been charged with burglary and other offenses. It wasn’t immediately known if they had lawyers.
