HANCOCK, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police say a Pennsylvania man has died after a car traveling the wrong way on Interstate 70 hit a pickup truck head-on.

Police say a Pontiac Bonneville was traveling westbound in eastbound lanes of I-70 near Hancock on Sunday night when it collided head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado.

The driver of the Pontiac, 50-year-old Larry Allen Martz of Mayport, Pa., was flown to Meritus Medical Center, where police say he was later pronounced dead. The three people in the truck were treated on the scene and released.
