BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Law enforcement authorities in North Dakota will extradite a man to South Dakota where he is wanted in connection with an attempted homicide.
Stark County Judge Dann Greenwood on Monday authorized the extradition.
The South Dakota Attorney General’s office says the 38-year-old Sisseton man was arrested Sunday afternoon in the southwestern North Dakota town of Beach.
South Dakota authorities are expected to pick up the man from a jail in Dickinson within 10 days.
The attorney general’s office did not immediately release details about the attempted homicide in Sisseton on March 19.
