Two CNN employees were caught Tuesday afternoon trying to sneak onto the World Trade Center site at Ground Zero, the New York Post reported.

Connor Boals, 26, and Yon Pomrenze, 35, were charged with trespassing, obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct, law enforcement sources told The Post.

“They were trying to prove a point. I guess they thought anybody could get in,” one source said.

The site has made headlines recently for its lax security.

Just last week, 16-year-old Justin Casquejo from New Jersey was caught after sneaking onto the WTC’s Freedom Tower rooftop to take photos.

On Monday, three men were charged for parachuting from the building in September.
