TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A 27-year-old man has been shot and killed in an officer-involved shooting in Tulsa.
Two police spokesmen say that officers were serving a narcotics warrant at a house on the city’s north side and that shots were fired almost immediately after officers confronted the victim in a bedroom inside the house.
It was not immediately clear how many officers were involved in the incident.
Officer Leland Ashley says there were five people inside the house, including the 27-year-old man. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police did not release the name of the victim late Tuesday.
