WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - A Yonkers man has pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and DWI charges for an August crash that killed his girlfriend.

Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore said Tuesday that William Watkins-Gomes faces up to seven years in prison when he is sentenced on May 20.

The DA says the defendant had both alcohol and marijuana in his system when his car jumped a curb, sideswiped a building and hit a tree.

The victim, 31-year-old Kelly Williams, was pronounced dead at Mount Vernon Hospital.
