NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects who viciously attacked and robbed a food deliveryman.

Police say the 44-year-old victim was entering a Clarkson Avenue building in Brooklyn on Saturday when five men exiting the location began punching and kicking him in the head.

The suspects took the victim’s cell phone, $500 in cash, other personal items and the delivery food.

The victim was treated at a hospital for a broken nose, lacerations to his face and head trauma.

Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
