CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - A man has been arrested in connection to a stabbing in a Cedar Rapids neighborhood.
The Cedar Rapids Police Department says 26-year-old Harris Ceaser III was taken into custody following the Monday night stabbing. He was arrested following a short pursuit on foot by officers.
Police say Ceaser ran from officers conducting a search for a suspect in the nearby stabbing of a man. The victim was transported to a local hospital. His condition is not available.
Ceaser has been charged with interference with official acts. He was also taken into custody on federal warrants. Court records do not list an attorney.
