SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Temidayo Yussuf had 21 points and 16 rebounds in St. Joseph Notre Dame’s 57-32 victory over Renaissance Academy in the California Division V boys’ championship at Sleep Train Arena.

Lamont Banks had 14 points and seven rebounds Friday for the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots (31-5).

Marquise Mosley led the Renaissance Academy Wildcats of La Canada (24-8) with 12 points.

After a 16-8 start by St. Joseph Notre Dame, Renaissance failed to score in the second quarter while the Pilots scored 13 points to lead 29-8 at the half.

Renaissance Academy’s first points in the second half came at the 7:26 mark of the third quarter when Steve Herve made two free throws.
