HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - The brother of a Hot Springs attorney, who both face manslaughter charges in a man’s death two years ago, has surrendered to Garland County authorities.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1myjXuC ) that 32-year-old Matthew Davis was booked into jail about 4 a.m. Friday, one day after 36-year-old Andrea Davis surrendered. Both are charged in the February 2012 shooting death of Maxwell Anderson at Andrea Davis‘ home.

Police say Anderson’s death was the result of a botched drug deal.

The Davises are being held without bail pending their first court appearance on Friday in Garland County.

Defense attorney Jeff Rosenzweig has said he’s confident both will be cleared of wrongdoing.

Attorney General Dustin McDaniel dropped out of the governor’s race last year after admitting to having an inappropriate relationship with Andrea Davis.
