OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A former tennis player, volleyball player and women’s basketball player will be inducted into the Creighton University Athletic Hall of Fame next month.

A banquet will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in downtown Omaha on April 9.

The inductees are Rusty T. Komori II, Korie Lebeda and Laura Spanheimer Dechant.

Komori played his entire career in the top two singles positions and no lower than No. 2 doubles during his career, which ended in 1991.

Lebeda played volleyball from 2005-2008, was named all-conference three times and holds the school record with more than 5,200 set assists.

Spanheimer made a school-record 369 steals in a career that ended in 2005, and she was a two-time Missouri Valley Conference defensive player of the year.
