KENNEDALE, Texas (AP) - Officials say a 29-year-old man free on bond on a murder charge has been arrested after firing at authorities during a two-hour standoff at a North Texas house following a domestic disturbance.

Tarrant County sheriff’s spokesman Terry Grisham tells the Fort Worth Star-Telegram (https://bit.ly/1hCX1Da ) no one was hurt during the standoff Thursday near Kennedale.

Jesus Ray Ybarra, now also facing a charge of attempted capital murder of a peace officer, was in Tarrant County jail Friday on no bond. A message left for the attorney listed as representing him on the earlier charge wasn’t immediately returned.

Ybarra is awaiting trial in an apparent road-rage shooting last year. Records show he was free on bond but an arrest warrant was issued in January on suspicion that he forfeited the bond.
