SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A man accused of sexually abusing teenage immigrant boys and forcing them to deal drugs is facing new charges after police say they found 11 more victims, bringing the total to 16.

Prosecutors say 42-year-old Victor Manuel Rax raped undocumented immigrant children as young as nine. They say Rax threatened the children’s families in order to force the children to sell drugs and submit to abuse.

Rax in February was arrested and later charged with 34 felonies. The Utah Attorney General’s office says the number of charges against him now rises to 63.

Police say Rax drugged some boys as he abused them and also sent them to deal drugs in Utah high schools.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1dArMwV ) Rax is scheduled to appear in court Friday.
