SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Devin Stanback had 27 points and 10 rebounds in Chaminade’s 80-51 victory over Archbishop Mitty in the California Division II girls’ championship Saturday.

Natalie Valenzuela added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Chaminade Eagles of West Hills (29-4). The win gives the Eagles their first state title.

Kelli Hayes had 13 points and three steals for the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs of San Jose (20-12).

Chaminade made six of its first seven shots en route to a 24-9 first quarter lead. The Eagles ramped up their defense in the second quarter to finish the first half leading 46-21 after Kaylie Fandino made a basket at the buzzer.
