AURORA, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky’s state parks are holding bird-watching events next month at three sites.

Author Joe LaFleur will lead three bird-watching walks at Kenlake, Lake Barkley and Pennyrile Forest state resort parks. LaFleur makes bird-watching videos and has been collecting video and sounds of birds for two decades.

The events at Kenlake park in Aurora and Lake Barkley State Resort Park in Cadiz will be held on April 5.

The next day, LaFleur will be Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park in Dawson Springs for a bird walk.

All the events are free to the public.
