BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - The Boulder City Council is considering measures that would allow the possibility of jail time for a host of municipal offenses, from camping to littering.

The proposed changes are part of a larger effort by city government to clean up city property, including the area around the Boulder Main Public Library and Central Park. The council also wants to cut down on misbehavior the city believes makes the area unappealing to families.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera (https://tinyurl.com/prcwd69 ), a Boulder attorney who has represented many homeless camping defendants says the proposed changes are too broad.
