CHICAGO (AP) - With a sign-up deadline just days away, Gov. Pat Quinn is urging Illinoisans to enroll for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

Quinn appeared at an enrollment event at Chicago’s Broadway Armory on Saturday. He says if you don’t have health insurance, now is the time “to take action and get covered.”

At the event, navigators with laptops helped uninsured residents see their coverage options and enroll. The last day to enroll in the Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace is Monday.

Enrollment counselors will help people sign up until midnight at events in the Chicago area, Mattoon and Rockford on Sunday and Monday.

At a call center in Chicago, operators will also answer questions from all around the state. A federal call center is also open 24 hours a day.
