ENFIELD, N.H. (AP) - A mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain resulted in some slick roads and delayed school openings in New Hampshire.

One section of Interstate 89 near exit 14 was closed for a while early Monday because of several accidents, one involving a tractor-trailer unit and another involving a police cruiser, near Enfield. No injuries were reported, but state police cited a driver who they said crashed into the cruiser and the trailer after it was in the earlier accident.

After a weekend of wet weather, the National Weather Service put out a flood warning for the Suncook River in North Chichester affecting Merrimack County, which was at 8.6 feet by 11 a.m. Flood stage is 7 feet. The river was expected to rise to near 9.8 feet before falling Tuesday.
