HARAHAN, La. (AP) - The Army Corps of Engineers says a segment of Powerline Drive in Harahan will be closed for about 6 months while a drainage line is installed.

The closing will begin Wednesday on Powerline Drive near River Road.

An 84-inch drainage line will be installed as part of a project designed to pump flood water from the Harahan area into the Mississippi River.
