WEST POINT, Miss. (AP) - Clay County will get almost $10,500 to help clean up illegal dumps.

WTVA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1fXZT0z ) the money will come from the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality.

Officials say the funding is through the department’s solid waste assistance grant program and will be used to pay for the enforcement of dumping statutes.
