SEATTLE (AP) - The Weather Service has added flood warnings Thursday morning for the Snoqualmie River near Carnation, the Puyallup River near Orting and the Cowlitz River at Randle.

A flood warning remains in effect for the Skokomish River near Potlatch.

Steady rain the past couple of days combined with melting snow to fill some rivers. Forecasters say most should crest Thursday and recede Friday. The floodwater is likely to cover farmland and low-lying roads.

Forecasters also are advising Eastern Washington residents to be aware of minor flooding in urban areas with poor drainage and on farms with rising creeks and streams.
