GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Tanner Bernhardt’s only basket of the game was a 3-pointer to open overtime, sparking Rugby to a 64-58 win over New Town Thursday at the North Dakota Class B boys basketball tournament.

Brad Heidlebaugh led all scorers with 22 points, while grabbing 13 rebounds. Zach Miller, whose two free throws 39 seconds left in regulation tied the game, had 18 points and Jaedon Haman chipped in 16.

The Panthers (26-0) scored nine straight points to erase a seven-point deficit in the third quarter.

New Town (20-3) missed two shots in the closing seconds of regulation.

Daryl Grady had 14 points and eight rebounds but fouled out early in overtime. Joe Baker had 13 points, including a three-quarter-court bank shot to beat the clock before half.

Wayne Fox had 11 rebounds and eight points but fouled out down the stretch.
