KENNEBEC, Maine (AP) - The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says it has charged six people with making drugs after a month-long operation in Waterville.

In a statement Friday, the agency says four men and two women are being charged with manufacture of methamphetamine drugs. Following arrests, all were transported to the Kennebec County Jail.

State agents say they worked to infiltrate the operation in a Waterville motel room for one month.

Agents found drug-making operation in a room in the Fireside Inn & Suites.
