LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Quinn Wragge and Breanna Allen scored 12 points apiece, and Crofton won its third straight state championship with a 62-40 victory over Hastings St. Cecilia in the Class C2 final Saturday.

Crofton (27-1) made nine 3-pointers and outrebounded the Hawkettes 42-23 while winning their sixth state title since 2005. Crofton led 33-19 at half and by 27 points in the fourth quarter. Wragge had 12 rebounds and Maria Wortman pulled down 10 for the Warriors.

Clare Hamburger had 16 points and seven rebounds to lead St. Cecilia (23-4).

Allen’s 3-pointer late in the first quarter gave Crofton the lead for good.
