AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Jarrey Foster had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Galena Park North Shore controlled Converse Judson from the start to win the Class 5A state championship 57-45 Saturday night.

Kerwin Roach scored 15 and had three dunks as former NBA all-star and four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal watched from the front row.

North Shore (35-3) broke the game open in the third, outscoring Judson 10-5 in the quarter for a 39-25 lead.

Judson showed some life in the early moments of the fourth behind consecutive 3-pointers from Julian Erickson, Judson’s first two from long range since the first quarter. North Shore answered the burst with seven straight points, including a steal and fastbreak dunk by Roach that pushed the lead to 48-31.

David Wacker scored 13 to lead Judson (37-2).
