GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Carter Kretchman scored 36 points to lead Fargo Oak Grove to a 68-58 win over Rugby in the championship game of the North Dakota Class B boys basketball tournament on Saturday.

Kretchman sparked the Grovers (26-2) with a barrage of NBA length 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, which ended tied at 58.

Rugby scored 13 straight points late in the game and had a chance to win in regulation. But the top-seeded and previously unbeaten Panthers (27-1) were outscored 10-0 in overtime.

Christian Adams had 11 points and Nick Card grabbed 17 rebounds for Fargo Oak Grove.

Brad Heidlebaugh scored 13 of Rugby’s 25 first-half points and finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Zach Miller had 10 points.

It is Oak Grove’s first state title since 2000. Rugby’s last title was 1962.
