MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Jackie Hudson scored 15 points to help unbeaten Union City knock off defending champion Jackson County 44-38 Saturday for the Division I Class A girls state basketball championship.

Tournament MVP Amber Fair added 12 points as the Fighting Tornadoes (37-0) avenged their last loss in the 2013 final. Tamara Nettles had 11 points and eight rebounds.

Kentucky signee Jaycee Coe, awarded her second Class A Miss Basketball after the game, finished with 27 points for the Lady Blue Devils (28-8).

Coe scored 19 straight points for Jackson County, including five 3s for a 22-16 halftime lead. But she was held to one field goal and 6-of-6 free throws after Union County shadowed her the second half.
