OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Morgan Vogt scored 23 points and Madi Grellner added 19 to help Okarche beat Red Oak 66-41 in the Class B girls state championship game.

No. 1 Okarche (29-2) won the Class A title last season before dropping to Class B and claiming its fifth state championship. The Warriors made 9 of 19 3-pointers at the State Fairgrounds on Saturday.

No. 2 Red Oak (25-2) led 9-4 in the first quarter, but the Warriors turned up their defensive intensity and used a 19-4 run to take a 23-13 lead, then scored the final 12 points of the first half, the final three on a buzzer-beater by Grellner, to take a 35-16 lead at the break.

Red Oak came no closer than 15 points after that. Rainey Mauzey scored 14 points, Brittany Ward had 12 and Baylee Evans added 11 for the Eagles.
