AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Trae Hannon scored 16 points and Water Valley cruised to the Class 1A Division II championship 68-44 over Laneville.

Water Valley had four players score in double figures. Kellan Kirkland had 14 points and 11 rebounds as Water Valley ( ) outrebounded Laneville 43-25. Brock Demere and Cameron Copley each scored 13.

Water Valley (29-5)was 11 of 15 shooting in the third quarter as it stretched a 30-25 halftime lead to 55-37 by the end of the third. Water Valley made seven 3-pointers.

Kendrick Anderson scored 13 points for Laneville (33-7). Dontavious Harris, who scored 30 points and made eight 3-pointers in a semifinal victory, attempted just five against Water Valley and finished with nine points.
