NORTH TOPSAIL BEACH, N.C. (AP) - Officials along the North Carolina coast say the latest winter storm has created more erosion reports along the state’s beaches.

North Topsail Beach Town Clerk Carin Faulkner told The Daily News of Jacksonville (https://bit.ly/1fNdsS3 ) that storm after storm this winter hasn’t given the beaches a chance to recover.

She says ocean water ended up washing debris and sand on to roads and ended up under beach houses during this week’s storm.
