LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. (AP) - Broward County residents can get rid of their electronics as well as outdated household chemicals at a recycling event.
The free Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling drop-off event will take place on Sunday in Lauderdale Lakes. Residents in participating cities can attend: Cooper City, Dania Beach, Deerfield Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Margate, Parkland, Pembroke Park, Sea Ranch Lakes, Unincorporated Broward, West Park, Weston and Wilton Manors.
Old computers, monitors and televisions can be recycled along with pesticides, paint at the drop-off event.
Residents of participating cities may also drop-off household hazardous waste and electronics every Saturday in Pompano Beach, Davie and West Park.
