LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Maggie Schulte scored 29 points and pulled down 15 rebounds, and Wynot defeated Sterling 53-38 on Saturday to win its fourth straight Class D2 girls state basketball championship.

Wynot (24-6), which led 21-19 at half, used a 14-0 run in the second half to pull away. Jenna Heine and Schulte scored six points apiece as the Blue Devils outscored Sterling 18-9 in the third quarter.

Jordan Lempka had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Taylor Cockrell had 12 points for Sterling (20-8).
