MIDDLETON, Wis. (AP) - Two Middleton police officers were hurt while trying to arrest a man accused of causing a ruckus at a local bar and grill.

Officers were called to the Mid Town Pub Wednesday evening where employees refused to serve the man more alcohol. That’s when he started flipping over tables and pushing employees and customers. The man then drove away and employees were able to get a vehicle description and license plate.

WKOW-TV (https://bit.ly/1o6D8K7 ) says two officers who stopped the man were injured when he resisted arrest, including one who was struck in the face.

The man was booked into the Dane County Jail on battery to a police officer and numerous other possible charges.
