NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD is looking for anyone who may have been a victim of a police impersonator who shook down escorts and masseuses.

Police say Mikhail Belik patronized escorts and masseuses he found in back page ads and demanded they pay him off or he would arrest them for unlicensed business practices.

Belik was arrested last week and charged with criminal impersonation of a police officer, burglary and unlawful imprisonment.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incidents to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800 577-TIPS.
