BEND, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say a La Pine man faces animal neglect charges after two horses and a dog were seized from his property over the weekend.
Deschutes County sheriff’s Lt. Deron McMasters says deputies served a search warrant on 46-year-old Roy F. Milhous’ property on Saturday. They had already seized on horse from Milhous in November, but seized another two after their health declined. A female Rottweiler also was seized because she was contained in a small enclosure and was in need of medical care.
KVTZ News reports (https://bit.ly/1snUoef) Milhous was cited on four counts of second-degree animal neglect and eight counts of having an unlicensed dog.
